SolutionInc Expands its South Pacific Presence Through New Agreement with Movielink |

SolutionInc Limited (TSX-VEN:STL), leader in Internet gateway software today announced a license agreement with Movielink Pty Ltd., the largest provider of Video On Demand (VOD) services to the hospitality industry in Australia. Under the agreement, Movielink will exclusively license and incorporate SolutionInc’s patented Internet gateway system, SolutionIP™ to deliver its hospitality broadband offering.
“Being selected by Australia’s leading VOD provider demonstrates our system’s ability to seamlessly integrate with VOD systems and bring value to their customers. Our licensing agreement with Movielink will significantly advance SolutionInc’s South Pacific footprint,” commented Glen Lavigne, President and CEO of SolutionInc Limited.
SolutionIP™ will provide Internet management capabilities to Movielink’s hotel broadband customers and will enable Internet access, seamless registration and billing options to the hotels’ guests. “After reviewing and testing a number of different Internet gateway systems, we found SolutionInc to be the most flexible for integrating into our existing IP and Coaxial based VOD platforms, providing all the necessary software applications to facilitate a high end service,” said Anthony White, Movielink’s Chief Engineer & System Administrator.
Movielink is 100% Australian-owned and currently services over 700 hotels with 110,000 rooms on the continent with Digital Pay Per View, Broadband Laptop Connect and Digital Free to Guest services. “Our collaboration with SolutionInc allows Movielink to leverage the most advanced technology in Internet billing and management to maintain our position as Australia’s leading provider of digital entertainment and business solutions to the hospitality industry,” explained Nicholas Guzzardi, General Manager of Movielink. |
