ADS Accelerates Expansion Throughout Atlantic Canada With Acquisition of Fundy Computer Services

Atlantic DataSystems, Inc. (ADS) (www.atlanticdatasystems.com), the largest Sage Software Business Partner in Newfoundland and Labrador and a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software, announced today that it has acquired Fundy Computer Services, Inc. (FCS) (www.fcs.ca), an IT services provider with offices in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

With this growth opportunity, ADS gains a strategic, complementary service offering and team of industry professionals. It will enable the company to further solidify its position as a top ERP provider in the small to midsized business space (SMB) in Eastern Canada – doubling the size of its Sage ERP Accpac practice, while significantly expanding its IT services offering. This combined synergy will enable ADS to provide a broader range of services to growing businesses, while increasing its exposure to more diverse end-to-end projects in the mid-market.

One of the most valuable components of the acquisition is FCS’s managed IT offering, iSupport. This solution allows SMBs to take advantage of monitored IT infrastructure and network services, traditionally reserved only for corporations with large, in-house IT departments. iSupport will continue to be an integral tool in the ADS portfolio, positioning the firm as the IT department for SMBs helping businesses leverage technology to achieve their competitive goals.
