Radian6 expands with UK aquisition

Radian6, the leading social media listening, engagement and insights platform provider, will extend its global reach with the acquisition of 6Consulting in the United Kingdom.

London-based 6Consulting is a social media firm offering social media monitoring ti enterprises and agencies in the UK. 6Consulting’s clients include Kellogg’s, EDF, Belron International, Dyson, Fujitsu, Sony Ericsson, the Central Office of Information (COI), the Metropolitan Police, the Greater Manchester Police, as well as many of the region’s top public relations and ad agencies. The firm has been the official reseller for Radian6 since 2009.

With 6Consulting becoming part of the Radian6 team, customers and agency partners in the United Kingdom will have even better access to the full resources of Radian6. The acquisition is also a key milestone in Radian6′s global expansion strategy.

When the acquisition concludes the 20 employees at 6Consulting will become employees of Radian6 Technologies UK Inc. That will take the total number of employees at Radian6 to over 280.
